Overview: We deal with all aspects of planning applications for residential and commercial properties. There are many scenarios where a planning application will be required including: -
Planning Application: Where a planning application is required we will prepare drawings, carry out survey work, provide consultation and assess relevant issues such as change of use, access and flood risk.
Appeals & Objections: Where planning application has been refused, we can assist in the preparation of a planning appeal. We can also assist in submitting objections to planning applications where required.
Development Plans: There are usually local authority development plans which are designed to control the nature of developments within their zone of control. This might include stipulations regarding housing density, affordability or environmental impact. We can assist in the interpretation of these development plans on your behalf before planning application is submitted.
Domestic Planning Issues: We are familiar with the intricacies of domestic planning issues such as excessively tall hedges, party wall disputes, tree preservation orders, right to light and rights of way.
Enforcement Appeals: We can apply for Lawful Development Certificates on your behalf where necessary.
Other Issues: Other elements of planning applications that we can cover include listed buildings, developments in conservation areas, environmental assessments, multiple occupancy properties such as flats and issues related to caravans.
